LOTRO: 12 Chars going nowhere fast

16 Sep

And I knew there was no turning back

My mind raced

And I thought what could I do

And I knew

There was no help, no help from you

Sound of the drums

Beating in my heart

ACDC – Thunderstruck

My wife has been sick and likes nothing better than curling up to me and watching a movie to recover…so LOTRO play has suffered! Did manage to do some early morning LOTRO’ing everyday with just a couple of major evening !

TsuDyrt – Captain Landroval project is still sucking all my time, he is a right leach! I am really enjoying my humble Captain…I had been warned of the lv35-45 hump…it didn’t appear and Tsudryt has glided easily to lv43, only thing slowing him down is me…I wanted to wrap up North Downs’ deeds around Esteldin (Orcs, Goblins, Wargs, Hillmen and Wryms!) as well as get some TP…I also realized as a fellow blogger pointed out that LOTRO suffers from ‘Quest Bloat’, this is when there are so many quests to do that you never progress and yes being a little bit of a completionist I do tend to stay around past my welcome…this is by far the fastest I have ever leveled but I still spend too much time doing some things maybe a little unnecessarily…Also running Skirmish ‘Attack at Dawn’ for Esteldin Rep and some XP.

Tsuhhere – is Tsudryt’s AH specialist and wow he is a bit of a merchant! He has also been buying and selling various Rep items, he passed the 50GP mark today…first time with any char and that is with maxing vault and buying Forochel rep items for Tsudryt as well!

SunngiffuRP has not been able to hook up with the rest of Fellowship of the Secret Fire, hopefully this thursday!

Waywnn idle warden!

Tordy  AH buyer and seller in Bree crafting hall! AH rep item trading but not as successfully as Tsuhhere..has about 20GP at the moment but he has also been constantly buying up crafting mats for Tsuhelm and Dyort.

Tsuhelm has finished Woodworking Guild Reputation Crafting – maxed until Helms Deep comes out, still has a long way to go with normal woodworking, held back a long time by the lack of Black Ash wood. So he is at the moment slowly collecting Black Ash in the Misty Mountains…

Dyort is not doing much at all: Crafts and sells batches of Gondorian Swords

Arwynneth is still out in the Lone Lands…enjoying the ever-lasting silence.

Luflaf is hobbit presenting and his TP grinding friend, Llucyd is sleeping on Silverlode.

Opopa,  is STILL doing what a one legged hobbit burgler does best in Michel Delving, which is nothing at all other than relaxing in the Bird and Baby. This little hobbit has a charmed life, a present every day, Laurelin, I apologize in advance for my hobbit causing any trouble in the Shire, he surely will! He has even handed some bounders tokens in…then went back to the baby for a nice pint!

Tsukuld, Dwarven Rune Master on Withywindle Server is the newest addition to the Tsu family J Lv10 reached so as to participate in the recent HD lottery based on server…No he didn’t win…

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

It’s alright, we’re doin’ fine

It’s alright, we’re doin’ fine, fine, fine

Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

Thunderstruck, baby, baby

Thunderstruck, you’ve been Thunderstruck

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

You’ve been Thunderstruck

Wow! You’re doing great 🙂 I hope your wife feels better soon!
Ah, questing… yes, I know that feeling! Sheherezi is finally interested in the Shire again. And yes, she’s level 35 now. Lvl 35 and doing quests in the Shire. Oh well, it could be worse! And let’s not forget, she’s reached expert level with the Cook guild! Going strong there! A few more weeks and she’s a grandmaster cook, with cooking and farming maxed out. Interesting 🙂
Shriya is laying low at the moment, she’s trying to hide because of the Bounder tokens. She fears I might “gift” her a pony and she’s absolutely mordicous against getting a new pony. She’s got one and she’s deadset on keeping that only one and not getting anymore. I’ve tried to convince her Sheherezi could use the tokens to get her Steed of Michel Delving (since Sheherezi loves all ponies!), but Shriya hasn’t come out of hiding yet.
The crafters are doing okay. Once I’m back from my vacation (no, not vOcation), I’m going to post several crafting guides.
My TP grinding characters have gone on strike. They’ve heard rumors of a possible wipe once they had run TP deeds in the four starter areas and they certainly did NOT agree with that.
Now, how can I bring it to them gently? Tell them I’ll remember them always? Tell them I’ll make a remembrance plaque on my blog? Or just tell them they’ll live on forever in Middle-Earth? After all, who am I to say they don’t? It’s fantasy after all, isn’t it?

Oh, btw, have you read Vraeden’s article about what your characters do when you’re not around (http://cstm.mymiddleearth.com/2013/09/low-power-mode/)? It is absolutely hilarious!

Longest ever comment I have ever recieved! 🙂
Getting rid ofTP grind charachters is hard, I only ever managed it with 1 char, that was Fredem.(https://tsuhelm.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/fredem-gone/) but he was an old man and he retired without a problem…maybe a bit surprised that I stripped him of everything of worth before he went off…I’m sure the crafty old dog had some stuff stashed away!
All the others have turned into alts…

Just read the Vreadan stuff and if all the Tsu’s were running around together it would be really confusing, although would need some kinda cloud heaven for them as most were on PS1/2 and old computers…

in fact I will post that on here story …maybe she can do an extension of the story…”Where do chars go when the game is deleted?”
